Instructions

About Your Session

Stephen Procter offers private interviews for refinement and direction in your meditation practice. You do not need to be a current student of MIDL to receive this guidance.


During the meeting Stephen will help you clarify your meditative path and direction to take you into deeper meditation practice.


Stephen guides from over 40 years of personal experience through sensitivity to detecting your relationship towards what you are currently experiencing in your meditation practice.

Calendly Online Booking System

Meditation sessions can be booked online using Calendly booking software.


Booking is simple:


Simply view the calendar by selecting the link for 30 or 60 minute sessions above. When the calendar opens times will reflect your current time zone. 


Simply select your preferred time and follow the prompts. Once booked you will receive a Zoom link for your interview and Stephen will meet you in the Zoom room at the scheduled time. 

Meeting on Zoom

When you book a session, you will be provided a Zoom link in the conformation.


You will need Zoom’s free software installed beforehand if you don’t already have it. If you click the provided link before the meeting Zoom will automatically install on that device.  


If you’d like to introduce yourself to Stephen and send some information about your practice beforehand there is a section provided in the booking form.

Further Questions

"How long should our first meeting be? I’m asking to choose the right timeslots (30/60min). How long will our subsequent meetings be?"


  • The 60 minutes for the first session, 30 minutes each after that unless you want to also understand the scriptural process behind your experience.


"How often should we meet?"


  • Meetings are most commonly held once every two weeks. Some meditators enjoy meeting weekly because it keeps them motivated to meditate daily throughout the week. Once you have gained momentum we can meet once per month and then only when you need guidance on the next step. My aim is always to help students of MIDL become independent of me in their practice.


"Do you need something from me before our first meeting? Like more background information or something like that?"


  • No. Just make some notes about what is happening during mindfulness of breathing in the week before we meet. Also let me know the deepest practice you have experienced before in your life just to give me a guideline. What is happening now in your meditation is most important, this is our starting point.


"Do I have to prepare anything for your first meeting? Like thinking about specific questions."


  • No, the meeting will unfold naturally, I will feel my way through it organically. But if there is some aspect of your meditation practice that is not clear to you then feel free to write it down and ask questions about that during our time together.
