The word cultivation comes from the Pali term that the Buddha used to describe the process of meditation: bhavana. Bhavana is an agricultural term that means: to cultivate, to grow.
As an insight meditator, you will gradually create the conditions for beneficial qualities of your mind and heart to grow by following very specific cultivations.
In Cultivation 01 your daily meditation will focus on growing two things:
This fulfills the purpose of Cultivation 01: Mindfulness & Letting Go:
To develop the first Enlightenment Factor of mindfulness, by learning to access the pleasure of relaxing/letting go of effort in your body & mind.

New to Meditation?
Cultivation 01 contains an Introductory Meditation Course tailored for new meditators.
I recommend this course as it develops a daily meditation habit, lowers the experience of stress & anxiety, and create a foundation for deeper meditation.

Your Meditation:
Each Cultivation contains three Meditations. It is helpful to think of these meditations as sequential steps, like baking a cake, with each step included in & creating the foundation for the next.
During Meditation 01, you will learn to how to find pleasure in relaxing your body with gentle breathing.
During Meditation 02, you will learn how to bring that relaxation into your mind to develop a feeling of mindful presence in Meditation 03.
.........................
Optional Meditation:
Instructions and guided meditation to retrain stress breathing patterns is included in Cultivation 01.
If you experience stress, anxiety, or brain fog, I highly recommend preparing your body & mind for meditation by first changing the way that you breathe.
